Black Panther Case Handled Fairly....

Investigation ‘found no evidence’ of misconduct by Justice attorneys

Justice Department attorneys did not commit professional misconduct or exercise poor judgment in their handling of a voter-intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party by dismissing three defendants in the case, says the department’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).

In a letter this week, the OPR said its seven-month inquiry “found no evidence” that the decision to dismiss the case against the New Black Panther Party and two of its members was “predicated on political considerations.”

Speech....

I watched obama's speech tonight.  Not impressed.

I did like the fact that he mentioned that the current Libyan regime was wrong in using "helicopter gunships and air power" against it's citizens, especially when they had no way to defend themselves against these types of attacks.  I hope that when the time comes obama will refrain from using "helicopter gunships and air power" against American citizens.

Most of it seemed phony and insincere.  I didn't think that his delivery was very good.  He repeated himself far too many times.

I do have to give him a little bit of credit, though.  He used "NATO" fairly frequently and minimized his use of "U.N.".  That was smart.

It would be nice if he would refrain from using electronic technology to spy on American citizens who are merely putting their thoughts out on blogs.

I also hope he won't use night vision and thermal imaging devices against American citizens either.  Our government has all the really neat toys, eh?  Sort of puts the folks on the receiving end at a disadvantage, especially when they have no way to defend themselves against it.

Oh well....

Even the "real" Socialists....

....are blaming the Democrats and union leadership.  They even mentioned obama himself as a culprit.  This is some funny shit.

Enjoy these articles.

I always wondered why they don't allow comments on their website.  I found that to be strange until it sunk in that the Socialists don't really want to give the people a voice.  They want to speak for the people.  You know, to tell the people what's good for them....  That's the way they work, ya know.  The Elites do the talking.  The Elites make the decisions.  They are the ones who know what's best for you.   They want to rule you.  They want to own you.  The sooner you comply, the sooner you.....  (You can fill in the blank)

You can learn a lot from their website :)  Space Cadets.  One would think that with so much education they would be smarter than they are....

I think it's hilarious that they are now starting to eat their own.

Just sayin'....

Imagine.... obama claims that he wasn't informed about "Fast and Furious", "Project Gun Runner", "Project Gun Walker", whatever you prefer to call it....

"It's a big government with lots of moving parts", says obama.

Anyone who believes that obama didn't know is just plain stupid.  No more, no less.  Stupid.  obama knew.  So did Holder.  An operation of this magnitude, with it's potentially devastating consequences, is not implemented without approval from the very top.

Everyone in the Chain of Command knew about it.  They had to or it couldn't have happened.  All the way from obama (and perhaps even Bush the Second before him) down to the SAC in the Phoenix office.   To believe anything else is just not logical.  It would mean that there are loose cannons running around out there with enough power and authority to make something like this happen without his or her superiors, including the POTUS, knowing about it.  I mean, geez, the United States was providing weapons to the enemies of one of our closest allies and our neighbor on our own southern border.

Mexico is at war with the drug cartels and the government of the United States did provide weapons to those cartels.  It doesn't get much simpler nor more disgusting than that.  I can't even imagine any reasonable justification for allowing something like this to transpire.

It makes about as much sense as allowing your 3 year old to play in the living room with a gallon of gasoline and a book of matches.  Something bad is bound to happen.

In my humble opinion, "Fast and Furious" fit obama's agenda.  He can't implement his long term plans until Americans have been disarmed.  This was supposed to be the catalyst to make that happen....

OOPS!  No one planned on any American LEOs getting killed with the weapons that were allowed to cross the border into the hands of the enemy.  No one planned on word of the project leaking out.  No one planned on Mike Vanderboegh and David Codrea chasing the story as tenaciously as they did.  No one planned on the blogosphere picking the story up and running with it day in and day out.  No one planned on Chuck Grassley getting involved.  Piss poor planning.  Failure to respect Murphy's Law....   It'll screw you every time :)

They didn't even have a plausible cover story to fall back on in case something went wrong.  That's just plain arrogant.  Or stupid.  Their only response so far has been to stonewall Senator Grassley and the others trying to investigate this situation and to offer weak, non-commital responses to the questions being asked.

obama appears to believe that he can lie his way out of anything.  The Moonbats believe everything he says, even when they know that they are being lied to.

Melson will be the sacrificial lamb.  Traver will be in at BATFE.  See how slick that works?  Even their damage control is dirty.  Know what I think?  I think they have pushed it too far to care all that much about damage control.

It's going to be interesting to watch the dance now that the heat is being turned up in the ballroom.

Do you suppose anyone from the MSM will question obama on this?  I mean, you know, seriously question him?  It is their responsibility to do it, you know.  I'm going to say "no", no one will seriously question obama on this.  Why?  Because obama owns the media.  The media is still Liberal, it is still biased, and the media still loves the first (somewhere between 1/16th and 1/4, no one knows for sure) black man to be elected POTUS.

What's your opinion on all of this "Fast and Furious" business, or on anything else, for that matter?

Stay safe.

Is anyone surprised?

Complete story here....

The Muslim Brotherhood, outlawed for decades by Egypt's military rulers, took an important stride towards winning political power for the first time after voters overwhelmingly backed its call for a "yes" vote in polls over the weekend.
Some 77 per cent of voters gave their approval to a hastily prepared package of constitutional reforms that will limit the overarching powers of the presidency and pave the way for quick legislative and presidential elections in the autumn.
The youth movements and other secular figures who led hundreds of thousands of protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square and other parts of the country had opposed the vote, saying the reforms were too piecemeal.
More importantly, elections so soon will give the reformers little time to organise. Under the autocratic rule of Hosni Mubarak, genuine opposition parties did not exist, meaning the reformers will have to start from scratch. Although outlawed, the Muslim Brotherhood, whose goals are murky, operated a highly efficient, underground movement.
The referendum was considered one of the cleanest votes held in Egypt and turnout was almost unprecedented, but the Muslim Brotherhood was accused of intimidating voters by telling them it was their "religious duty" to vote "yes".

Remember, Mubarak was our "allie" for years....

New DOJ....

An email from a co-worker.  Interesting.
Always important to watch what is going on behind the scenes!!!
 U. S. Department of Justice
                        W E B  S I T  E  C H A N G E

Little by little the subtle changes come until one day we will wake up and
be the United Socialist States of America.
2012 is just around the corner so get and stay engaged as if our nation
depended on it because it does!!!!!

U.S. Department of  Justice ditches red, white, and blue stars and stripes.

Well, how interesting!  It seems the U.S. Department of Justice
has changed its web site.
Gone are the colorful red, white, and blue U.S. Flag decorations on the page, replaced by stark black and white.

And at the top of the page, is a rather interesting quote:
"The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people."

Catchy, huh?
Just one tiny little (too small to be relevant obviously) point --
the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930's
was a leading proponent of  the "international law" movement, which had as
its goal to impose a global common law and which backed 'global
workers' rights.'

Call it Marxism, call it Progressivism, call it Socialism -- under any of
those names, it definitely makes the DOJ look corrupt in their
new  web site with Marxist accessories to match.

See for yourself: http://www.justice.gov/

How very interesting that 'they' couldn't find a nice quote from one of
our Founders.
People, we have lost our Republic.  This is an example of the slow,
methodical misuse of power our current government is doing as they
lead us to socialism, and destroying our republic as we have
known it.

Get ready for 2012 -

Things....

I just read this over at Weird and Pissed Off.  It seems that everyone now knows about this debacle.  The question remains as to whether or not anyone will follow through.  As always, the comments are as interesting as the article.

T.L. Davis weighs in with this over at his blog.  It is the most legitimate question of the day.

Even the Moonbats are questioning the constitutionality of our involvement in Libya.  China wants hostilities to cease immediately.  Too bad we lack real leadership in the White House.  Hell, we lack any kind of leadership in the White House, real or otherwise.

We are soooo screwed.

I was pumping gas at the local Kwik Star on my way to work this morning.  The pump didn't stop immediately when the tank was full and it's quite windy here this morning.  Gasoline on my right shoe and pant leg.  Geez.  Call me a dumbass....  I hope the odor goes away soon.....

Lawsuit and other things....

                                                    Thanks to http://www.wired.com/

Remember Aaron Tobey?  He's the young man who, back in December, was going to his Grandmother's funeral in Wisconsin and wanted to let people know that he believes that the TSA's screening process is unconstitutional.  He's 22 years old.  He was detained in handcuffs at the Richmond International Airport for 90 minutes while being questioned about his "motivation" for doing what he did.  (Don't the idiots at TSA understand that one doesn't have to be motivated by anything other than The Constitution to stick up for one's constitutional rights?  Sheesh....)

He has filed a lawsuit for his unlawful detention.  My hat is off to this young man.  It gives me hope that not all of our young people are lost.  I wish him the best of luck.

How about the "Gunwalker" fiasco?  It's my understanding that BATFE and Justice are still stonewalling the Judicial Committee.  I don't think it's gonna go away, kiddies.  Huge "Thank you" to Mike Vanderboegh, David Codrea and GOA for their tireless efforts and to TL Davis and the other bloggers who got the word out to the blogosphere and kept it out there.  "The Heat is on...."

And Geitner at Treasury.  Is he an idiot?

Janet the Second is completely lost.  Clueless.

I think this current administration is beyond corrupt.  I think they are criminal.  Blatantly criminal.  And totally incompetent.  All of them.

I'm not sure that the Republicans are any better than the Democrats but it looks like the Republicans are starting to fight amongst themselves.  It appears that they mostly want to maintain the status quo.  Too much self interest amongst all politicians.  They're going to screw the pooch and obama will be reelected.

The Unions in Wisconsin are rushing to make deals with the local school boards ahead of the new collective bargaining law taking effect.  The Wisconsin Secretary of State is refusing to publish it until the last possible day because he doesn't see it as an emergency needing immediate action.  Oh yeah, he's a Democrat.

While Qadafi is killing the citizens of Libya, while the middle east is in flames, while the tsumani is affecting the Pacific all the way from Japan to Kalifornia, while radiation is leaking into the atmosphere from broken reactors in Japan, obama plays golf.  Soon we'll be hearing about his NCAA tournament picks.  That's newsworthy, I guess.  I say again, obama isn't a very presidential president.

We are so totally screwed.

Does anyone have any cheery news?

Stay safe.

Threats....

From 620 WTMJ News Radio....

UPDATE: Welcome Drudge readers; You can also follow events in Wisconsin by following me on Twitter @SykesCharlie.

That's a nice business you got there. Pity if anything were to happen to it if, say, you didn't toe the line and denounce Governor Walker like we're asking nice-like.

March 10, 2011
Mr. Tom Ellis, President
Marshall & Ilsley Corporation
770 N. Water Street
Milwaukee, WI 53202

SENT VIA FASCIMILE AND REGULAR MAIL

Dear Mr. Ellis:

As you undoubtedly know, Governor Walker recently proposed a “budget
adjustment bill” to eviscerate public employees’ right to collectively bargain in
Wisconsin. ..

As you also know, Scott Walker did not campaign on this issue when he ran for
office. If he had, we are confident that you would not be listed among his largest
contributors. As such, we are contacting you now to request your support.

The undersigned groups would like your company to publicly oppose Governor
Walker’s efforts to virtually eliminate collective bargaining for public employees in
Wisconsin. While we appreciate that you may need some time to consider this
request, we ask for your response by March 17. In the event that you do not
respond to this request by that date, we will assume that you stand with
Governor Walker and against the teachers, nurses, police officers, fire fighters,
and other dedicated public employees who serve our communities.

In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining,
please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott the
goods and services provided by your company. However, if you join us, we will
do everything in our power to publicly celebrate your partnership in the fight to
preserve the right of public employees to be heard at the bargaining table.
Wisconsin’s public employee unions serve to protect and promote equality and
fairness in the workplace. We hope you will stand with us and publicly share that
ideal.

In the event you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact the
executive Director of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association, Jim Palmer,
at 608.273.3840.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. We look forward to hearing from
you soon.

Pretty nice, huh?  The "Gravy Train" is pulling out of the station, boys and girls.  The recipients of the taxpayer's largesse are getting nervous.  The unions are screaming.  Looks like the leeches are about to lose their power and their "free stuff".

Gall bladder removal at 10 meters....

Not quite as neat as what the doctor did to me, but effective  none the less....
I like my XD 40's....

Since I'm on vacation this week and not going anywhere due to the removal of my gall bladder last Wednesday night....

....I had my wife drive me out to the range this afternoon.  31 degrees and light snow.  The range area was a mudhole, but I was the only one on the short firing lanes, so it was pretty good.

I own 3 XD 40s.  One in each length.  The Tactical is new.  I just picked it up a week ago last friday night.  What day was that?  The 25th?  Yeah.  My days are all screwed up.

Yes, I was feeling pretty crappy that day but I had ordered it from a gentleman out of Indianola 2 weeks previously and we had agreed that I would pick it up at the gun show that was here in town that weekend.  I got out of bed and went down and picked it up, then came back home and went back to bed.  My oldest son bought an XD 40 from him also.  4" Service Model.  Nice pistol.

Anyway, no surprises with the 5" pistol.  You pull the trigger and it does the same thing the 4" and the 3" do.  Puts a round down range.  I like it.

5 rounds in the X, 10 rounds in the 10 ring, the remainder in the gall bladder.  I'm happy.  :)

Say what?  That's not the gall bladder?  OOPS!

Looking forward to nicer weather and better health.

Stay safe.

The Woman Marine Pilot....

The teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment:

Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of  it.

The next day, the kids came back and, one by one, began to tell their stories.

There were all the regular types of stuff: spilled milk and pennies saved.

But then the teacher realized, much to her dismay, that only Janie was  left.

"Janie, do you have a story to share?"

'Yes ma'am. My daddy told me a story about my Mommy. She was a Marine
pilot
in Desert Storm, and her plane got hit.  She had to bail out over
enemy territory, and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and
a survival knife.

She drank the whiskey on the way down, so the bottle wouldn't break.

And then her parachute landed her right in the middle of 20 Iraqi  troops.
She shot 15 of them with the pistol, until she ran out of bullets,
She killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke,
"Then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands."

''Good Heavens,' said the horrified teacher.
What did your Daddy tell you was the moral to this horrible story?"

"Don't Fuck with Mommy when she's been drinking!!"

I love these touching stories!

Stay safe.
