Kurdish victims of Sarin gas 1988
The National Review published an article last Wednesday making the case that there were, in fact, weapons of mass destruction in Iraq when Bush II invaded that country. Enough biological material to pretty much destroy the world was already produced or had nearly finished the production process and was ready to be used. Hussein had done it before. He had killed people with biological weapons. Why would anyone believe that he wouldn't do it again?
That story is here.
It is backed up by about 1000 pages of research that you can find here.
You can draw your own conclusions.
I found it interesting at the time that Bush II had nearly unanimous congressional support for the invasion of Iraq based on intelligence claiming that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction. I also found it interesting how quickly those same supporters turned on him when those weapons weren't immediately discovered when we invaded Iraq. Definitely not the kind of people I'd trust to have my back.
Saddam Hussein was a bad man. He was a man who murdered hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of his own people in his quest for power and control. He was a bad man in the same way that Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Che Guevara, etc. were bad men. He was a threat to the region and a threat to the world. He needed to be destroyed.
The world today is full of bad men (and women) who are just as willing as the bad men mentioned above to kill any people who get in the way of their quest to control everyone and everything in this world.
What drives a person to want to have control over another? To determine who lives and who dies?
What does one gain by controlling the world?
Do these people want to be glorified? To have statues and monuments erected in their honor? To have people do their bidding and to bow at their feet?
Hasn't history taught them anything? Don't they realize that they are destined to failure?
Our society is collapsing around us and all we do is initiate more programs exactly like the programs that brought us to this place in order to perpetuate the decline.
Why?
SFMEDIC has a blog post today that explains the mechanics of how we got to where we're at today. Now, to figure out the mentality that got us here. Personally, I believe it to be greed and ego. Entitlement. Arrogance. Cold hearted prickishness. The desire to have the proles worship at one's feet.
Take a moment and go see what Curtis has to say. He has an interesting letter to share. The people we elect to lead us are mentally detached from reality.
Check out Brock's blog to read about racism in the halls of power. Oh, wait! They can't be racists.
That's enough for now.
Stay safe.
I remember there was a long convoy of big trucks that left Iraq just before the invasion.
ReplyDeleteNothing on them. Nothing to see....
ReplyDeleteWell, let's also not forget this. Iraq was our proxy in the war with Iran ... while Iraq was lobbing WMD at Iran.
ReplyDelete(As a side note, they are linking the Gulf Syndrome with ... get this ... small amounts of Sarin gas in the bodies of Iraq Vets. Of course. Iraq and Iran were lobbing each other with the stuff. I am sure the place-ground is saturated with it).
What I find interesting, is that if you search, you will find a lot of people who were at one time on the inside of various governmental posts, including the CIA like Susan Lindauer http://wn.com/Susan_Lindauer, who have came out and "blew the whistle" on these various affairs ... only to be called cranks and/or mentally ill.
Lets also remember this ... the PATRIOT Act. In other words "Keep your frikkin mouths shut."
And of course, our multi BILLIONS in sophisticated satellites lost track of that convoy. The theory was that they went to Syria ... or was it Lebanon. They couldn't seem to make up their mind.
Curtis.... Strange how we end up fighting our "proxies" at some point in the future, eh?
ReplyDeleteI remember Russia invading Afghanistan just a month or two after getting out of the army in '79. That one went on for almost 10 years, if I remember right. The best coverage was in Soldier of Fortune magazine. I seem to remember an American allie by the name of Osama bin Laden....
Do you suppose that the "lost convoy" was a ruse to distract while they moved into the mosques? Stranger things have happened. Or have they?
"It's a strange, strange world we live in, Master jack..."
After eating my beans and pork, I figured I kind of left short my comment. Saddam was a bad guy no doubt. He was also useful for TPTB on our side. I am assuming that the Geo-strategic usefulness had been played out to TPTB content and it was time to get rid of Saddam to play out the next moves. Here we are and 911 played beautifully into it. And of course, here we are playing in the sandbox with the Muslim Brotherhood ... and Al Qaeda ... for what purpose? TPTB know. I am going with the Non Integrating Gap and Core theory ... which of course is going to fail ... or is it? I think there has to be a cataclysmic event to usher the final NWO. The Muslim Brotherhood, whether they know it or not, are just pawns in that game?
ReplyDeleteAssuming that he did have those "tons" of WMD, as I have in the past read so many different accounts, how do you lose "tons" of WMD? Surely our multi-BILLION in satellites where all over Iraq and the surrounding area. And surely, every Mosque in Iraq has been checked. There could have been a window of opportunity I suppose if the satellites where in a blind position (which I doubt). If they were in a blind position. But Saddam would have had to have known that to safely move his WMD to Syria, Lebanon ... wherever. So I think we have 3 thing's here. We let Saddam move his WMD for wharever purpose. We captured his "tons" of WMD and are playing blind for whatever purpose. Or, he destroyed them like he said he did.
Who knows. Maybe the largest newest Babylon on the Euphrates and Tigris river will suddenly be ... wiped out? And left uninhabitable?
I just find it incredulous that we say we know he had "tons" of WMD, but we don't know where they all went, or are not sure.
Anyhow, there are panty of bad people in the world, but I am not buying that we are the white-hats of the world either.
After all. Bush Sr. welcomed us to the NWO and assured us that he/they would win in ushering us into it. I have it on video. And the "peace dividend" marches on.
I'm going to err on the side of the nuts, rather than the government which has given us the National S/S, fondling, etc. and ... Janet.
"and ... Janet." That puts the light right on target. ewwww....
ReplyDeleteSadly, we have come to the point where we can no longer believe ANYTHING that our government tells us.
And there are still those who readily believe EVERYTHING that our government tells us.
Logic is no longer valid.
We'll share those cockroaches and moldy bread crusts.
Hopefully we'll have some slop to dip them in.
