  3. Been having that conversation with an acquaintance. He thinks 'common consensus' is what defines an assault weapon, then talks about hunting and food. When I point out the Second isn't about hunting, he shuts down- like all good loser libs- and 'doesn't want to talk about it any more'.

  4. Anon... Liberals really do have issues with logic. Their thought process is based on 2 things...

    1) emotion

    2) what their friends are thinking.

Original thought is difficult, if not impossible, for them.

Your Liberal acquaintance probably thinks that all "assault weapons" should be banned because they kill so many people. He thinks that because it is what he has been told to think.

FBI standard crime data (the most accurate data available anywhere)says that the number of "assault weapons" used in crime in this country is so small that it is "statistically insignificant".

Explain to him how much happier he will be when he starts thinking for himself rather than letting his "friends" think for him :)

    Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Personally, I am worried that a tyrant will try to take may guns away from me. That's why I'll buy more.

  6. Mike... I, too, worry about the Tyrant showing up at my door in the middle of the night requesting that I turn my weapons over to him.

The sad part is the choice that will have to made when the confiscators do show up at your door.

    Comply, or resist.

    Neither alternative is good.

Compliance is an action that will have to be lived with for the rest of one's life. You will never sleep well again knowing that you handed your weapons over to the confiscators without resistance. The remainder of your years will be lived with that shame constantly in your mind.

Any form of resistance will end badly for the gun owner. Though the SWAT team didn't show up at Jose Guerena's home to confiscate his weapons, they did show up prepared to quash any resistance they might encounter, and quash it they did. That's the way it works in New Amerika.

It is a choice that many will have to make at some point in the future.

    I see no other way.

  7. Anon... I prefer to think that guns are for defending oneself from tyrants and commies and bears, oh my! :)

    Semantics, I guess.

    Thanks for stopping by.
