My thoughts on The Second...

The Second Amendment to the Constitution of these United States recognizes the unalienable right of the law abiding human being to defend himself by any means necessary. It is a right granted by God, not by government. It is a right that cannot be taken away, limited, or qualified in any way by any government... federal, state, local, or otherwise.

It does not limit whom one may defend oneself against. It does not limit what arms may be used in defense of oneself or others. It does not limit the locations where one may defend oneself. It does not limit where one can go armed.  It does not limit the time of day when one may defend oneself. It does not say that "reasonable" limitations or restrictions may be placed on the right of the law abiding citizen to keep and bear arms.

It says:

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Throw out your fears, biases and predjudices then read that again..

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

It isn't difficult at all to understand the Second Amendment.  Its words were chosen very carefully  in order that every person could understand it.  It was written to prevent the government from infringing in any way, shape, or form upon the Natural Right of the law abiding citizen to keep and bear arms and to use those arms to protect himself and others from anyone who would do him harm.

It was expected that the law abiding citizen would do whatever was necessary to prevent the right being infringed.  It was understood that The Second protects all other rights.  It was assumed that no citizen  who loved liberty would be willing to give up any of their Natural Rights.

It is difficult, near impossible, to understand any law abiding citizen or group of citizens who would allow anyone to put restrictions or limitations upon any of their God given rights. Period.

Stay safe.

  3. Yes, Brock, we have failed. Miserably.

Little by little they have put rules and laws in place and we were too stupid or too lazy to stop them.

Children born today will live by restrictive laws and rules that we couldn't have even concieved of when we were kids and young adults.

And they will know no difference. It will be all they know. It will be "normal" for them.

They will not be able to imagine the freedom of the past.

Had we been told even 30 years ago what America would be like today we would have laughed in the "prophet's" face. We wouldn't have believed it. Only the Communist countries were like that. :) Remember when Communism was a bad thing?

Remember the Liberals of the 60s and 70s saying "God is dead"?

  6. God isn't dead...America just turned it's collective back on Him.

    With predictable results.
