Let me get this straight...
Suspect number 1 is dead. Suspect number 2 is at large but he has changed clothes since Monday and is no longer wearing the white ballcap backward? Someone used the gun belonging to the dead cop in the shootout.
The original Suspect number 1, a member of the House of Saud and with ties to al Qaeda, was released and sent back to the Middle East after a conversation between a "high ranking government official" and the Saudi Ambassador? Is that correct? Pretty much correct?
And Biden tells the Grabbers that obama has some "Executive Solutions" up his sleeve to implement gun control after it failed in the Senate?
How much ya wanna bet that when (if?) they identify suspects #1 & 2 we'll find out that they were disenchanted Liberal pukes with mental disorders and ties to al Qaeda? Or something.
Nevermind... I'm not going to speculate. I'll just wait for the MSM to
obama is pissed that gun control measures in the Senate failed miserably. It's the fault of the NRA. They have too much power. (Remember that the NRA is an organization created to represent the People, not unlike the UAW or the Teacher's Union or the Government Employees Union or any other Union that lobbies in Washington D.C.) According to obama, the Senate failed the people.
Gabby Giffords is pissed. Expanded background checks work so well. Ask the folks in New York State who have had their firearms confiscated. Oh wait! That's due to a public safety clause in the obamacare bill. Remember, they said obamacare couldn't be used to confiscate your guns.
A link from David. 5 minutes. Watch the video.
obama has been spewing the 80% and 92% statistics for the past month. Remember... either 80% or 92% of gun owners were in favor of expanded background checks?
Don't forget that 40% of all gun sales take place outside the system and don't include a background check. Also, you can buy firearms over the internet without any background checks. They just send them straight to your house.
Must be true... obama said it was.
Happy Patriots' Day.
Remember Waco.
Think about OKC.
Oh! I almost forgot. It was kinda cold and it was snowy in South Dakota, but it was good. :)
Stay safe.
When I hear Ofacism whining that 90% of the people want gun control, I thought, really? What about the 90% who didn't want Obamacare? He is such a serial liar. I can not even articulate the disgust, distrust, and dislike I have for him and his ilk. I wouldn't cross the street to spit on that pos.

You got it, Sister :)
ReplyDeleteWell - that about sums it up. Something doesn't smell right...
ReplyDeleteAdrienne... We'll need a new Warren Commission to get the government's story together so that they can tell the public how it happened, once and for all... :)
ReplyDeletethey talk all I hear is wha wha wha (from the peanuts cartoon). Hope you liked our south Dakota spring weather
ReplyDeletejohn in sd
john in sd... "wha wha wha"... Exactly. :)
ReplyDeleteI liked your South Dakota spring weather just fine. Well, except for the drive home yesterday. Your highway crews appear to do a good job, at least on the Interstates and in the Black Hills. Mother Nature has her own ideas :)
We left yesterday knowing that we will be back.
OH! I did find some 9mm Fiocci 115 gr fmj and some PMC Bronze 115 gr jhp 9mm at Cabela's in Rapid City. Now the Missus can shoot her new pistol :)
ReplyDeleteWhy don’t we try this twist? Let’s form a Gun Owners Union, maybe that will give us some legitimacy, some of that Washington credibility. Or maybe the NRA could change it’s name to the National Rifleman’s Union…pistol men to be included of course.

hbbill... Not a bad idea. The word "Union" is a dirty word in my house but I think I could get ok with it in this particular situation.
ReplyDeleteI did a little research this morning just to see where the NRA ranks in money spent lobbying.
Nowhere close to being big spenders. The big spenders trying to influence legislation would be the Tech Industry, Bankers, the Medical industry, the Medical Insurance industry, AARP...
The NRA is well down the list. The comment that was made said that the benefit the NRA has is it's ability to communicate effectively with its 4 million (now closer to 5 million, I think) members and to affect grassroots activism from those members. The GOA was even further down the list of spending but had the same ability to initiate almost instantaneous grassroots activism from it's members.
One has to remember that the NRA and GOA, as well as other gun rights groups, aren't in it to make money like the organizations listed above are. The gun rights groups are in it to protect their constitutional rights. A pretty big incentive, if you ask me.
