Hope and Change...

Don't know about the hope, but things certainly have changed.

I don't know about you, but I despise being lied to.  Especially by obama and his crew.  It's a sad commentary when you cannot believe anything that comes from the mouth of the President of the United States or from anyone in his administration.   I don't think he, or any of his minions, have ever told the truth.  That makes them liars.  Pathological liars.  That is a mental disorder to be added to the other mental disorder they are afflicted with.  Liberalism.

They know they're liars and they know that we know they're liars.  Yet they keep telling the lies.  The same old lies as well as new lies.  How pathetic is that?  Them for doing it and us for letting them.  It's easy to lie to an under-informed, ignorant electorate.

It follows the Communist mantra of "the end justifies the means".  They believe that.

My kids were punished when they lied to me as they were growing up.  That's how you teach them that it isn't acceptable to lie.   You do things to modify their behavior.  Usually doesn't take much.  A bar of soap just a couple of times will usually do the trick.  Perhaps a good lickin'.

I was in the Army for a long time.  We knew that support was just a radio transmission away if we ever got into trouble that we couldn't handle on our own.  That was the thought that I couldn't get out of my mind when the Benghazi thing went down.  I couldn't help wondering if the people on the ground were expecting help to arrive at any moment.  They apparently made the appropriate calls to the right people.  And were left to die at the hands of an overwhelming enemy force.  Not because the people they trusted to assist them couldn't or wouldn't, but because those people weren't allowed to help them.  And then the American people and the world were told a story, a lie.  It made me physically ill to contemplate what happened.  Variations of the lie are still being told.   It still makes me sick to imagine the folks on the ground fighting for their lives, knowing, trusting, that help was just a few minutes away.  Expecting to hear the helicopters and jets at any second.  Believing that they could hold on long enough for help to arrive.

I wonder how they'd feel if they knew that Hillary may have watched them die on a live TV feed and that obama may have gone to bed while they fought and died?  I wonder how they would feel if they knew that the world was told that they died at the hands of "rioters who spontaneously rose up in anger" over a YouTube video that was critical of Islam?  That story was a lie.  The Liars telling that story knew that it was a lie as they told it.

I believe it's possible that they were intentionally left to die in order to cover up an illicit arms trading deal.  A deal bigger than Fast and Furious.  (That's obviously speculation, thinking aloud, on my part.) Watergate and Iran Contra pale in comparison to the evil constantly perpetrated by the current regime.  I'm not saying that the American government, or someone acting on behalf of the American government, incited "the riots" that took the lives of  Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.  Our government would never do something like that.  I will say that our government didn't do enough to protect and to assist these men.  The government violated the trust that these men placed in it.

Fast and Furious would have long ago brought down a Republican administration.  Benghazi would have buried the Republican party for years to come, had a Republican President been in office.  The media would have taken either story and treated it like a hungry Rottweiler would treat a piece of raw meat.  They would have been on it 24/7 until the meat was devoured, digested and expelled.  Why have they ignored the crimes of the current administration?  Is it because they worked very hard to put the current administration in office and are unwilling to admit that they made a mistake?  Or do they agree with the policies of this administration?  Do the media, along with other progressives, believe that the end justifies the means?  Do they believe that our government is leading us in the proper direction for the future?

The media is complicit in the crimes committed by the current regime.  No one reports facts anymore.  The Talking Heads of today's media proselytize and opine to successfully sway the jello-minded masses, masses dumbed down by an education system that leaves them incapable of critical or original thought, to the Progressive cause.  The media, also, needs to be held accountable.  The media is what allows the Liars to broadly and successfully lie to the masses.

I don't think it's too much to expect that the President, his administration, and the media that keep us informed, be honest and truthful.  Yes, I realize that those days are gone, if they ever existed.  I also know that they continue to lie to us only because we allow them to...

Anyway...

Stay safe.

  1. EXACTLY my thoughts. From day one I wondered if they thought help was just a heart beat away.

I can't even begin to imagine the terror they must have felt before dying. As I keep saying, "no one should have to die like that."

I use Yahoo news as sort of benchmark of what's going on. Not one word about the upcoming Benghazi hearings.

  2. Adrienne... I would lay in bed at night, wide awake, thinking about what these men went through. It made me sick.

I know now, as I knew then, that Naval or Air Force air power could have been on station within minutes of the first call for help. A Standby Reactionary Force could have put boots on the ground several hours before these Americans died. The entire incident could have been terminated in less than an hour after the first call for help.

Instead they sent a drone to watch what was happening. It apparently watched until the very end...

As unforgivable as Bill Clinton sending American troops into Mogadishu with the promise that if anything went bad they would have the full support of American military power that was on station close by. We all know how that ended. Politics got in the way of promises made...

I suspect that the reason behind the lack of support in Benghazi may be a bit more sinister than it was in Mogadishu. I find it odd that there was a Clinton involved in both of those failed operations.

    Happy Sunday, Adrienne! :)

More than "a bit more." And the Clintons? There's many decades of dead bodies in their past. These people we're dealing with are evil and dangerous.

    Happy Sunday to you. too!

  5. I am hoping that the testimony from the first person witnesses opens up America's eyes. The most 'transparent administration' evah needs to face the music.

  6. Adrienne... I got on my Harley and rode out to a car show. It was good. Hope the rose bush planting went well!

Gun Shy Tourist... "The most 'transparent administration' evah needs to face the music."

Yup. They need to face the music, for sure. I pray that Mr. Issa does not back down one iota.
