That osprey must be nested in a relatively low spot. Getting that sized catch to more than a few dozen feet of altitude could be a real challenge. I watch them trying to make the climb up to an approx. 180ft high nest with breakfast pretty frequently. They don't give up easily but they do sometimes give up and light on a lower spot for some rest and nourishment.
