"He's fortunate he was dealing with compliant people."
No doubt, Grog. We are fast approaching a point where lone officers will become unwilling to patrol their assigned areas any longer due to the abuse the citizens have endured. How long before the "normal" patrol vehicle is armored with a squad of SWAT members inside?
I shudder to think of a world without law enforcement, but it scares me just as much to imagine where we are going with our current militarized law enforcement.
Yes, we're in a bad place, but-you knew I would use that word :) didn't you-consider it this way, when the reset happens, it'll be up to each of us to "sweep our own porch", as Kerodin, Bill Nye, CA and others have expounded on this year and in the past. Local.
Will I make it through the first few weeks? hell if I know, lol. I'll try to, but I have limited influence on other people's actions.
The circumstance that concerns me is being able to recognize the beginning of the reset, so I can try to vamoose ahead of the crowd. After that, I'll take it day by day. Anyway, I'll remain positive in the thought that life has more for me to do before I turn in my ticket, and I hope the same for those who think as we do. Only time will show the future's fine details.
That's not good enough.
