This pic looks like the fellow that I took care of a few years ago in a Madison, WI emergency department. My patient was having a disagreement with a "friend" and was "winning" the discussion. The friend didn't "cotton" to that idea and grabbed the first thing he could....a steak knife. Guess we should ban all steak knives now, eh?!?!? Steve
Steve... Amazing how quickly the skin opens up after being "touched" with a sharp object. I had a young PFC assigned to my section the first time I was stationed in Germany who, after copious amounts of alcohol and running his mouth, felt the sting of the straight razor from the center of his ear to the edge of his mouth. It followed the curve of his jaw perfectly. The "wielder of the razor" was apparently just slightly high in his intended aim...
I made several trips to take him to Landstuhl to visit with, and to be "re-opened" by, an Army plastic surgeon over the next several months.
Painful learning experience. :)
The scar was barely noticeable after the plastic surgeon finished his work.
There you go again, putting up a picture with a realistic statement on it. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave an Excellent day, Sir. :)
Thank you! You have an excellent day, also!
ReplyDeleteGovernment is the "tool" ;) and yes, they are the problem.
ReplyDeleteMiss Violet
Yes, Miss V. ... Government is the problem.
