Alexander the Great was not a Greek but a Macedonian. Napoleon was not a Frenchman but a Corsican. Stalin was not a Russian but a Georgian. Hitler was not a German but an Austrian. Obama . . . . . ?
The Democratic Party just signed on a whole lot of new voters. As distasteful as it may be, the GOP needs to calm their ranks down, wait until January, and then do what they have to do. To act like immature children at this point is playing into his hands. Turn lemons into lemonade and steal away the new Dem voters who think they now owe the Kenyan Monarch. The GOP has 40 some days to put bills on the Fuhrer's desk, have them vetoed, and then they have ammo for the next two years. But it will take thought and planning; not emotion and gov't shut downs. The GOP has a chance to turn this around to their favor - DON'T BLOW IT!
MADDOG... I agree. I hope that Republicans are mature enough to follow through without getting stupid. I believe that they have a mandate from America, though I doubt they understand what that mandate is...
How do they reconcile that mandate with those behind the scenes who are pulling their strings? The exact same people who would have pulled the strings of the Democrats, had they won.
Seriously, I doubt the American people understand that bigger forces are at work here, that their vote means very little other than who sits in office. The outcome is basically the same no matter who is the mouthpiece of the people.

Good points, all... :)
