A police officer, hired as event security, carrying his duty gun, has nothing whatsoever to do with the second amendment.
A private event, displaying cartoons, in a country where such things is legal, and along the way offending people into a murderous rage, has nothing to do with the first amendment.
Well, like "Tater Salad" said,"In Texas, when you kill someone, we kill you right back." (And, "Where other states are creating road blocks to executions, we're building an express lane." Love the poster anyway. Why let facts get in the way of a good slogan?
The worst part is that "genericv iews" is abxolutely correct - according to the Constitution. Do NOT abrogate the original - it has worked for a while.
