For a change, I'd like an angry white guy as our leader who is just fed up with our current herd of "elected officials / millionaires". These are the same elites who call out the 1% but fail to recognize THEY are the 1%! I'd rather have a real capitalist as our leader who tells you that life isn't fair and you get the things you EARN and KEEP THEM. I'll take that chance.
I know this is going to piss people off but Donald Trump thought Barack Obama was a good President for a couple of years and I didn't even before he was President.
I don't mean this to attack your belief given the way primary's are going I sincerely hope that he is everything you believe.
But given that this meme seems to want us to be on record before people are elected I didn't thing Obama would be anything other than a progressive nightmare and I don't think Trump will be an improvement.
I'm sorry if I've lost someone who occasionally reads my blog.
Odysseus... I don't think you have lost anyone. ;)
MADDOG... I don't mind the idea of an angry white Capitalist as president. I would just hope that he would be a guy who had some clue about governance and who wouldn't embarrass or harm America.
Not sure about any of them at this point. Well, any of the Right side candidates. ;)
Take a look at Ben Carson. For the first time in my 58 years, I've found a candidate that I really think is good. No holding my nose and voting for the better of two evils, no "meh, he's for a lot of the things I'm for I guess he's ok." This guy is smart, honest, and deliberate. And as for his being too calm and quiet, my mom was the same way when she was about to lower the boom us us kids. Walk softly and carry a big stick, and all that.
I agree that Carson is "smart, honest, and deliberate". I like him. There was a time when I thought he could do this. He isn't warrior enough, the way I see it. He doesn't have the willingness to go in for the kill. I think he will make a good VP or cabinet member. We will see. ;)
We need a president who is going to be bad in a real good way!
