If I was DT, I'd tell the Republican Party that I should only have three opponents: the three on stage with me during the debates. And, if you send one more hit team after me, or don't back me if I'm the recognized nominee (because the People said so, then all bets are off and my pledge has been voided by your actions. I'll take my votes, create a third party, and you'll lose the general election - period.
This is what is wrong with our elected scumbags - and the electoral college. We, The People, vote for somebody but our elected scumbags say, "I know better" and do what they want instead of what The People want. It's not time for a third party. It's time for one person, one vote - we have the technology!

Establishment Dems and Repubs would be more accurate.
Yes, but... Nearly all of them are "establishment" these days, yes? ;)

I'm thinking that the popular vote might be better than the Electoral College. It would obviously require a Constitutional amendment to do that... :)
