Anniversary of a massacre...
December 29, 1890. Wounded knee.
~~~~~~
When the US Government wants something, even if it belongs to you, they will take it. They will kill you, if necessary, but they will have what they want.
My wife and I traveled to South Dakota last spring. We visited these places where the US Government murdered people in order to get what they wanted. Haunted places.
Of course, it couldn't happen here. Not in America. Not today. (I suspect that Randy Weaver and David Koresh would disagree...)
Read the story. It is just one of many. Ask yourself how you would feel if someone came in and stole your land, moved you to a place that was convenient for them, and stripped you of your culture... How would you respond? How will you respond?
I'm betting that obama will create a program to give free light bulbs to poor people.
Soon he will be giving them free cell phones. A phone is a basic human right, ya know... And, if you have a free cell phone you'll need minutes. Wouldn't be any good without minutes...
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. I hope you get to spend it with family and friends.
Choosing sides...
From USA Today...
A nation founded by pilgrims who came here to worship the God of the Bible freely without interference and persecution from ruling elites and those opposed to Christianity's influence on the culture, has now come to the proverbial fork in the road. After years of attempting to balance traditional Americana with political correctness, those pushing the new "my way or the highway" definition of "tolerance" have decided accommodating our differences of opinion is defeat.
COLUMN: How Christians should respond to hate
Your Say: 'Duck Dynasty' lessons in tolerance, intolerance
Irrefutable history documents that the Bible and its teachings were the biggest influence on those that founded the freest and most prosperous nation in human history. Yet nowadays if you believe that same Bible is true you will either silence your beliefs, or you will be silenced. Just ask Phil Robertson, one of the stars of Duck Dynasty, among the most successful shows on TV.
In an interview with GQ, Robertson plainly repeated simple truths that are fundamental to western civilization — the Bible calls all sexual activity outside of holy matrimony sin and immoral, and it's natural for a man to be attracted to a woman. You know, the birds and the bees.
For that, the tolerance mob demanded his head on a platter, and the wannabe King Herods that work at A&E, the network that made untold millions off of Robertson's enormous popularity, gladly obliged. When we have now come to the point that pop culture would rather bow at the altar of rabid political correctness than make a profit, then we have reached a point of no return as a people.
Especially in an era when government believes it has the power to compel a Christian baker to make wedding cakes for homosexuals, compel a Christian photographer to photograph a homosexual union in a state that doesn't even recognize them, and tell a Christian company it has to provide birth control to its employees in violation of its owners moral conscience. We have reached the point where government believes it gets to play God.
Read the rest here. It's a good article.
~~~~~~
My son and I were walking through the woods this morning talking about the state of America. He use to think I was a paranoid nutcase. He was in denial. Not so much anymore. We are on the same page, more or less. I mentioned to him that we are all being put into a position of having to choose sides. There is not going to be any "neutral" in what is coming.
People are still denying there is a problem here in the good ol' US of A. Those people are either stupid or they are in denial. I cannot imagine that there is anyone left in this country who cannot see the writing on the wall.
Anyway...

Wholesome...
I was just thinking...
And the "most wholesome company in the whole wide world" owns A&E... Disney. That just drips with irony...
I wonder if Mickey and Minney are homosexuals?
~~~~~~
Cracker Barrel removed and stopped selling their ""Duck Dynasty" products and apparel. That's funny. A&E owns the rights to anything "Duck Dynasty". The Robertsons own the rights to the "Duck Commander" brand. Cracker Barrel is taking profits from A&E... More sweet irony.
~~~~~~
Seriously, I don't care one whit if you are a homosexual. What I do care about is when you feel the need to get in my face and make sure that I know you are a homosexual. There has to be something wrong with your head for you to do that... Cuckoo. Cuckoo.

EB-5 Visa Program Faces
Tough Questions
The EB-5 visa program has been used for decades as a tool to encourage
foreign investment and job creation in the United States in exchange for a U.S.
visa. Over the past three years, there has been a remarkable increase in the
amount of foreigners using this visa program. At first glance, this appeared to
be a positive development. But, as whistleblowers came forward, and we took a
detailed look, there appear
to be some major flaws that need fixing.
For instance, last week I sent a letter to the Acting Director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement inquiring about a memo from his agency that expressed grave concerns about the EB-5 visa program. The internal memo identified several areas of vulnerability within the EB-5 visa program, and it questioned whether the vulnerabilities could be fixed in order to “ensure the integrity of the program.”
I was especially concerned about a section of the memo that outlines how the EB-5 program “may be abused by Iranian operatives to infiltrate the United States.” According to the memo, Immigrations and Custom Enforcement investigators became concerned about the program while scrutinizing operatives who allegedly “facilitate terrorism and are involved in an illicit procurement network that exports items to Iran... .”
Whistleblowers provided this memo, as well as evidence that the leadership team at Citizenship and Immigration Services was susceptible to political pressure and favoritism. The U.S. immigration system should be governed by equal application of the law—not by who has the best political connections to the director of the agency. Unfortunately, despite concerns of many senators and an ongoing investigation by the independent Inspector General at the Department of Homeland Security, Senate Democrats proceeded to vote on the now former director of Citizenship and Immigration Services to be the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
The national security concerns that whistleblowers brought forward, along with the internal memo, show reason to take a hard look at the EB-5 visa program and what fixes need to be made to ensure that the security of the American people isn’t compromised.

Who would have thought...?
Who would have thought that an honest man's interview with a magazine reporter could have caused such a shitstorm all across America?
Let me get this straight...
Phil Robertson was being interviewed by Drew Magary of GQ magazine. In response to a question by Magary, Phil states that, in his personal opinion based on his personal Christian beliefs, homosexuality is immoral.
The homosexuals went berserk. (Don't forget that they make up approximately 1.7% of the population) They immediately put pressure on A&E to do something about the obviously intolerant Phil Robertson.
A&E responded:
What A&E said is "We are tolerant of the homosexual lifestyle because it brings us advertising dollars. We are not tolerant of the strongly held beliefs of one of the stars of this program that has made us so much money" Talk about biting the hand that feeds you... Talk about being grossly out of touch with your audience.
Phil Robertson issued a statement that was released to HuffPost through A&E:
America goes crazy.
The beauty of it is that the backlash appears to be almost completely against A&E and the Progressive lifestyle that is dominant in America today. It seems that Americans are sick and tired of sitting back quietly while a small faction tells them what to think. The Intolerants telling America that we have to be tolerant.
This is what the Progressives have been afraid of for so long. One man standing up and making a statement that resonates with the average American. A legitimate call to action. A simple statement that pulls the curtain from the Progressive agenda and exposes it for what it really is; an intolerant control mechanism. "If you don't think like I do, I'm going to stand up and scream from the rooftops that you are a bad person".
It works for racism.
It works for gun control (somewhat).
It works for the demand for homosexual acceptance.
It works for pretty much anything that the Progressives want to promote.
Name calling is a powerful tool.
The fear of being called names is a powerful deterrent.
I think that the current uproar goes far beyond Mr. Robertson and his beliefs. I believe that the average American is still a tolerant person. I don't think he cares if you are black, or Asian, or Mexican, or homosexual. I don't think he cares if you are religious or not. I think he is starting to realize that a very, very small, but very vocal, minority is making all of the decisions. I think that he is beginning to realize that those decisions don't really reflect his (American) values too well.
I do think that somewhere deep inside, the average American is sick and tired of being told how to think and what to think about any given topic. I think that the average American is tired of being told that wrong is right and right is wrong. I think he is tired of being told that he is an intolerant homophobic racist when, in fact, he is not.
I think that he is tired of small radical fringe groups with loud voices doing his thinking for him. Granted, he is the one who has allowed this thought control to happen. He is the only one who can change it. If only he can get past his fear of being called an intolerant homophobic racist.
Perhaps Phil's comments will wake the average American from the deep slumber (nightmare) of Progressivism. Perhaps the average American will wake up and begin to think for himself again.
Folks, this is an opportunity that should not be wasted.

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."

“I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”
America goes crazy.

Well, duh...
~~~~~~
Can you imagine the phone calls that were being made to A&E by advertisers threatening to pull their dollars if they didn't do something about this crazy Redneck?
A&E and their advertisers are cowards. They are running scared from a very small fringe faction of loud mouthed lunatics and a large segment of the population who go along with the "homosexuality is normal" meme in order not to be called a homophobe. Just like so many of our actions and so much of our conversation is painfully and consciously politically correct in order that we not be declared racists. .
If you know you aren't a racist, and you know you don't hate homosexuals simply because they choose to pack each others poop chutes or munch each others carpet, why do you care what you are called?
God gave man a penis and woman a vagina for a reason.
And yes, I have homosexual friends. Just like I have Mexican friends and Asian friends and black friends. It's because I'm a bigoted homophobic racist.
Like Phil says, it isn't my place to judge any of these people. That's up to the Big Guy.
Fuck A&E.
Kanye...
Open
letter from Police Chief David Oliver to Kanye West
Dear Kanye West,
I am honored to be writing such an important star. I am a mere Internet sensation. I’m not sure I am worthy to address you, although the Huffington Post did say I was “Humorous and Insanely Popular.” I don’t pay much attention to those things. Anyway, please excuse my interference in your life for a quick second....
I read your interview and also watched it on video. You said:
“I’m just giving of my body on the stage and putting my life at risk, literally.….and I think about it. I think about my family and I’m like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.”
I want to thank you for putting your life on the line for all of us every day. I know that being a rapper is tough work. I have tried to rap, and it is very difficult to keep up with the pulse of the rhyme flow…although when Ice Ice Baby comes on the radio, I can usually keep up with ol’ Vanilla. Anywho, your job is just some very dangerous work. Most people don’t consider… if you rap really fast, without a chance to inhale, you could pass out and hit your head.
That last paragraph was covered in sarcasm. I’m letting you know, just so you do not think I agree with your very ignorant assessment of your career (or any other performer)as it relates to a person in the military or a police officer’s service. You sir, are as misguided as they come. I do have a suggestion for you. Since you are accustomed to danger, from your life as an international rapper, I am strongly encouraging you immediately abandon you career as a super star and join the military. After joining, I would like you to volunteer to be deployed in Afghanistan or one of the numerous other forward locations where our men an women are currently serving. When the Taliban starts shooting at you, perhaps you could stand up and let the words flow. It could be something like “I’m Kanye West, wearing a flak vest.” I’m sure they would just drop weapons and surrender. You could quite possibly end all wars, just from the enemy being star-struck.
Your line of thinking is part of the problem in the world today….which include entertainers thinking they are something more than just entertainers. I know it is supply and demand and the demand for your services is high. I get economics. What I do not get is you EVER comparing what you do for a living to our heroic military members, who are always in harm’s way… and my brother and sister police officers who have to go to work carrying weapons and wearing a bullet-proof vest to protect themselves.
The Atheist...
An atheist was
seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned
To her and said, "Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike
Up a conversation with your fellow passenger."
The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total
... Stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"
"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist. "How about why there is no God,
Or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled smugly.
"Okay," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask
You a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same
Stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns
Out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?"
The Art of the Lie...
Via David P. in NC...
No president since Franklin Roosevelt has mastered the art of the “Big Lie” as effectively as Barack Hussein Obama.
In my last Memo to Demos, I outlined Obama’s litany of lies to win passage of ObamaCare, or as an increasing number of Democrats now prefer to call it, the “Affordable Care Act.” Having supported this catastrophic behemoth, they now hope that their refusal to utter the word “ObamaCare” will provide them a measure of political protection. The truth, however, is that they are now irrevocably linked to Obama’s repeated bald-faced lies.
I concur with the assessment of political analyst Jonah Goldberg that Obama’s lies are “the biggest lies about domestic policy ever uttered by a U.S. president.”
As politically vulnerable Demos in the Senate are scurrying away from the ObamaCare train wreck, their intrepid leader, Sen. Harry Reid, yet again repeated Obama’s Big Lie: “What he said was true. If you want to keep the insurance you have you can keep it. The problem is, we did not put the bill into effect that way.”
In other words, you can keep your insurance and doctor, except “we did not put the bill into effect that way.” This must be why he exempted some of his staff from ObamaCare.
Poor obama. Everyone is turning against him. The sad thing is that "the next one" will probably be as bad as he is. Why? Because we allow it. Since we allow it, we deserve what we get.
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” –Article II, Section 1, Constitution of the United States (1787)
I was as stupefied by Reid's reiteration of this now-infamous lie as was
the reporter who asked him about it. Is Reid suffering from acute dementia? Has
he been imprisoned in some sensory deprivation tank for the last two months? Or
is he, like Obama, thoroughly accomplished in the art of the Big Lie? Recall
that this audacious technique is a staple of the biggest deceptions propagated
by Leftist cadres since the rise of Marxism and its murderous
manifestations in successive regimes, most notably the National Socialist German
Workers' Party from the 1930s through the end of World War II.
Some reading this will question: Really Alexander? Obama and Hitler?
Is this another histrionic example of Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies: "As an
online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis
or Hitler approaches 1"?
If you're among those who'd rather dismiss such associations because they
seem too strident -- or because you want to help maintain Obama's deception --
then your answer is yes. But the fact is, Obama's lies fit neatly into the Big
Lie framework defined by another pathological narcissist, Adolf Hitler.
Comment | Share
Reid's repetition of Obama's lie invokes the need to review the origin of
Big Lie theory, as well as the proliferation of Big Lie propaganda today.
Adolf Hitler defined the Big Lie in his 1925 autobiography, Mein Kampf,
writing that it must be so "colossal" that the public would be confident that no
national leaders "could have the impudence to distort the truth so
infamously."
"In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying."
Hitler's Propaganda Minister, Joseph Goebbels, affirmed that "the principle
that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. ... It is the absolute
right of the state to supervise the formation of public opinion."
If you still have trouble making the Big Lie connection, perhaps you can
make the Socialist connection.
In Mein Kampf, Hitler also wrote of his Nationalsozialistische Deutsche
Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers' Party, or NAZI), "The party
... must not become a servant of the masses, but their master." With respect to
the socialist state and individual Liberty, he wrote, "The unity of a nation's
spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and will of an
individual; and that the higher interests involved in the life of the whole must
here set the limits and lay down the duties of the interests of the
individual."
Hitler's regime was founded on his premise, "We are Socialists, we are
enemies of the capitalistic economic system ... and we are all determined to
destroy this system under all conditions."
"To be a socialist," Goebbels affirmed, "is to submit the I to the thou;
socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole."
For those who still find the Big Lie comparison too strident, I refer you
to Jacob Hornberger's paraphrase of the esteemed classical liberal economist
Friedrich von Hayek: "There is no difference in principle, between the economic
philosophy of Nazism, socialism, communism, and fascism and that of the American
welfare state and regulated economy."
British historian Dr. John Joseph Ray followed, "The Big Lie of the late
20th century was that Nazism was Rightist. It was in fact typical of the Leftism
of its day. It was only to the Right of Stalin's Communism."
As for Obama's Biggest Lies, it's difficult to pick just one, given that
his entire presidency is a lie. Indeed, his whole life is a lie. Even his official White House bio begins, "His story is
the American story -- values from the heartland, a middle-class upbringing in a
strong family..."
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Obama was a disciple of bigotry and hate, and he was steeped in Marxist ideology from a young age. His indoctrination is a
case study in the advancement of statist tyranny and oppression of
Liberty.
Surely one of Obama's Biggest Lies was his 2008 election night assertion,
"The dream of our founders is alive!" Does any right-thinking person now
seriously believe that his agenda to supplant Rule of Law with rule of men is consistent with our nation's founding
principles of Liberty, "endowed by our creator?" Of course not.
His sycophantic constituents, however, are another matter. They were too
dullard then, and most are still too ignorant to realize they've been lied to.
The Big Lie remains so big that, cascades of facts not withstanding, they
adamantly cling to hope that there is another explanation.
More accurate would be Obama's victory night declaration, "At this defining
moment, change has come to America," which reaffirmed this infamous claim from a week earlier: "We are five days
away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America." Indeed, that
transformation is well underway -- though by no means does it still have enough
momentum that it is unstoppable.
But in my assessment, Barack Obama's Biggest Big Lie was uttered twice,
when he took his constitutionally prescribed oath of office. If memory serves,
it went something like this: "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute
the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my
Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United
States."
For now, at least, Obama has been snared by his own Big ObamaCare Lies.
Let's hope he stays caught.
Poor obama. Everyone is turning against him. The sad thing is that "the next one" will probably be as bad as he is. Why? Because we allow it. Since we allow it, we deserve what we get.
Muslim Brotherhood in D.C. ...
Homeland Insecurity: The radical Muslim Brotherhood is
often dismissed in the media as a distant threat. In fact, this sworn U.S. enemy
isn't just overseas. It's inside the gates of the White House.
At least six American Islamist activists who work closely with the Obama
administration are Muslim Brotherhood operatives who enjoy strong influence over
U.S. policy, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism and the Center
for Security Policy in Washington.
As we list the worst of these subversives, bear in mind that the FBI in
2004 uncovered the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood's strategic plan to infiltrate the
U.S. government and sabotage it "from within" during a raid of a Brotherhood
operative's home in the D.C. suburb of Annandale on suspicion of terrorist
activities. The stated goal of the document: turn America into an Islamic
nation.
Also know that, despite media dismissals of the Brotherhood as a "benign"
group, it is in fact the parent group of al-Qaida and played a role in the 9/11
plot.
The hijackers got support from several Muslim Brotherhood mosques across
the country and were handled by a key Brotherhood leader in America — the
CIA-droned cleric Anwar Awlaki, now thought to be the U.S. field commander of
the operation.
Let's start with Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security
Advisory Council who has met with national security staff inside the White
House. He raises perhaps the most alarms.
Elibiary has been accused of "downloading sensitive material from law
enforcement databases," according to the Investigative Project. Last month, he tweeted: "I do consider the United States of
America an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution."
In October, Elibiary blamed persecuted Coptic Christians for inciting
violence in Egypt, claiming in a series of offensive tweets that their raising
awareness of atrocities they've suffered promotes "Islamophobic" bigotry and
anger by Muslims.
He went on to defend the recently deposed Muslim Brotherhood leadership in
Cairo. In earlier tweets, he has praised Egyptian jihadist and Brotherhood
leader Sayyid Qutb, a key mentor of Osama bin Laden.
On his Twitter account, Elibiary sports the Muslim Brotherhood banner. Why
is he still advising Homeland Security? Most disturbing, why did he recently get
a promotion in the midst of all this controversy?
Another national security adviser to the White House is Imam Mohamed Magid,
whose father is a "Cairo-trained Muslim Brotherhood scholar," according to the
Center for Security Policy.
Magid, who preaches at a Washington-area mosque, also serves as president
of the Islamic Society of North America, which the government says is a front
for the Muslim Brotherhood in America.
In 2008, the Justice Department ID'd Magid's ISNA as an unindicted
co-conspirator in the largest terror finance case in U.S. history. That
designation was upheld by four federal judges on the basis of evidence provided
by the government President Obama now controls.
Why is this man telling the White House and FBI how to conduct terrorism
investigations?
Then there is Rashad Hussain, whom Obama appointed his special envoy to the
Muslim world.
"Hussain has long been involved with various Muslim Brotherhood fronts,"
states a 51-page pamphlet on the Brotherhood by the Center for Security
Policy.
Hussain previously served as deputy associate White House counsel. National
security issues were among his areas of responsibility. Hussain helped draft
Obama's 2009 speech in Cairo. Banned Muslim Brotherhood leaders were invited to
the event.
If the Obama administration will not properly vet the advisers it plucks
from the Muslim community, Congress has a duty to step in and do its job for
it.
Given the degree of infiltration, a counterintelligence damage assessment
should be ordered.
Can't fix stupid...
From David P. in N.C. ...
ESPN columnist and CNN pundit LZ Granderson: "[Obama] should have been more forthright with how the Affordable Care Act was going to impact the country. But with that being said, all Americans know politicians lie. The question is, which lies can you live with? And, time and time again, Americans have said we can deal with the lies that President Obama tells us because we believe in his heart, he has the best interest for the American people."
To anyone who believes that obama has the best interests of the American people in his heart... You are a special kind of stoopid.
