Democrats, or Liberals...?
Don't know if it's true or not, but it sure sounds good.
I'd be more inclined to believe that Liberals commit more crime. Liberalism is a mindset, a disease. Democrats merely belong to a misguided political party. I realize that most Liberals are Democrats, and that most Democrats are Liberals, but there are some Liberals on the Republican side, too...
Happy Sunday. :)

Ronnie Barrett...
Barrett Firearms Will Not Sell or Service Firearms for Law Enforcement in New York
Barrett Firearms is joining the growing list of gun companies who are refusing to do any business with New York, including law enforcement agencies in the state.
Barrett has had a similar policy in place for California since they banned Barrett’s .50 caliber rifles.
Here is Ronnie Barrett’s open letter to New York State.
Barrett opposes those who are illegally disarming the American public from their efficient arms and creating superior armed elitist government agencies.
Elected state officials of New York, having been sworn to protect our Constitution, have instead committed an offense against it and their citizens by stripping inalienable rights duly protected and guaranteed under the Second Amendment. By their deliberate and sinister actions, these officials now cause their state and local policing agencies to enforce these unconstitutional and illegal so called “laws.”
By current law, Barrett cannot be an accomplice with any lawbreaker, therefore, cannot and will not service or sell to New York government agencies. Barrett also applies this stance to the individual elected official who, as a matter of public record, has voted for or created regulation that violates the constitutional rights of their citizens. This is an expansion of our 2002 ban against the California government due to their Second Amendment infringements, and shall apply to any future violators.
In the course of world history there have been officials that strip inalienable rights from the people that were given to all by our Creator. Most of these officials inevitably come to trial, some do not.
Intentionally violating constitutional rights by officials that have sworn to uphold them should have severe prison sentences.
With the clear vision of horrible events in history repeating itself, all manufacturers of firearms or related equipment remaining in partnership with such violators should have a respectable fear of being found with the guilty on their day of trial.
During this era of assault on liberty, Barrett will remain steadfast in our efforts to serve law-abiding citizens of all fifty states, and stands together with you in the struggles we will fight and win.

Why...?
Why? Because it doesn't fit their meme. Why? Because they don't want the few on their side who may have the tiniest bit of common sense to start asking "why?". Why are they promoting a program that has failed miserably every time and place it has been tried? Why?

The Great Divider...
Yep. True dat.
President Obama laid out his aggressive liberal
agenda in his State of the Union address. Does his vision of what America should
be match yours? Do you feel he is uniting or dividing this country? Take our
survey and let us know what you think:

obama's breakfast spanking...
The President was on the roster with politically incorrect Dr. Ben Carson who gave Obama a respectable prayer breakfast spanking. Carson, a world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon, was unafraid in Obama’s presence. That’s probably because Dr. Carson has worked on brains just a tiny bit smaller than Barack’s.
For those on the left there’s nothing worse than a black man refusing to play the victim, insisting that his success was achieved through individual freedom and personal responsibility. That’s why the President probably came real close to losing a waffle while listening to Ben share how, against all odds and without government assistance, he overcame poverty, racism, and a violent temper to become a world-renowned neurosurgeon.
Benjamin Carson is a 61-year-old black man raised in Detroit by a single mother who refused to let her sons fail. As a peeved Obama stoically glared at him, Dr. Carson talked of his mother Sonya’s demand that, although unable to read herself, he and his brother Curtis, rather than watch television, read and write book reports.
Once nicknamed the “dumbest kid in the world,” Ben described how books taught him about the individual self-determination “people of great accomplishment” exercise. Those lessons led to an epiphany for Carson: “At that point I didn’t hate poverty anymore, because I knew it was only temporary: I could change that.”
Clearly, Dr. Carson’s idea of ‘change’ is radically different from that of the president. Change for Ben Carson came with the revelation that the best one can be requires hard work and personal responsibility.
Carson dared to touch on America’s “moral decay and fiscal irresponsibility” with Barack Obama, the main contributor to both problems, sitting just a few feet away.
For mathematically-challenged Obama voters who find it hard to grasp the enormity of the nation’s 16.5-trillion-dollar liability, Carson broke it down by explaining that if one were to count “one number per second…it would take “507,000 years … to count to one trillion.” The doctor even brought up tax-free health savings accounts – now that takes a hearty dose of intestinal fortitude!
Ben Carson was not shy about laying out a flat-tax proposal, either. He suggested that if “You make 10 billion dollars, you put in a billion. You make 10 dollars, you put in one.” Then, he cleverly used the flat-tax argument as a springboard to expose the president’s class warfare tactics when he pointed out that “some people” (ahem) say, “That’s not fair! It doesn’t hurt the guy who made 10 billion dollars.”
Dr. Carson then asked, “Where does it say you have to hurt that guy? He just put a billion dollars into the pot!” The 2008 Presidential Medal of Freedom winner should have just turned and spoken directly to the presidential ‘winner’ sitting nearby, who was trying desperately to keep his composure.

Letter from Magpul...
In addition to the national battle to protect our
firearms rights, many states are currently engaged in their own fights. Here in
CO, a state with a strong heritage of firearm and other personal freedoms, we
are facing some extreme challenges to firearms rights. We have been engaged in
dialogue with legislators here presenting our arguments to stop legislation from
even being introduced, but our efforts did not deter those of extreme views.
After the NRAs visit last week, several anti-freedom bills were
introduced by CO legislators, and a very aggressive timeline has been set forth
in moving these bills forward.
The bills include:
HB 1229, Background
checks for Gun Transfers--a measure to prohibit private sales between CO
residents, and instead require a full FFL transfer, including a 4473.
HB
1228, Payment for Background Checks for Gun Transfers-- a measure that would
require CO residents to pay for the back logged state-run CBI system (currently
taking 3 times the federally mandated wait time for checks to occur) instead of
using the free federal NICS checks.
And finally, HB 1224, Prohibiting
Large Capacity Ammunition Magazines--a measure that bans the possession, sale,
or transfer of magazines over 10 round capacity. The measures and stipulations
in this bill would deprive CO residents of the value of their private property
by prohibiting the sale or transfer of all magazines over 10 rounds. This bill
would also prohibit manufacture of magazines greater than 10 rounds for
commercial sale out of the state, and place restrictions on the manufacture of
military and law enforcement magazines that would cripple production.
We'd like to ask all CO residents to please contact your state
legislators and the members of the Judiciary Committee and urge them to kill
these measures in committee, and to vote NO if they reach the floor.
We
also ask you to show your support for the 2nd Amendment at the Capitol on
Tuesday, Feb 12, for the magazine ban committee hearing and Wednesday,
Feb
13, for the hearing on the other measures.
Due to the highly restrictive
language in HB 1224, if passed, and we remained here, this measure would require
us to cease PMAG production on July 1, 2013.
In short, Magpul would be
unable to remain in business as a CO company, and the over 200 jobs for direct
employees and nearly 700 jobs at our subcontractors and suppliers would pick up
and leave CO. Due to the structure of our operations, this would be entirely
possible, hopefully without significant disruption to production.
The
legislators drafting these measures do so in spite of the fact that nothing they
are proposing will do anything to even marginally improve public safety in CO,
and in fact, will leave law-abiding CO residents less able to defend themselves,
strip away rights and property from residents who have done nothing wrong, and
send nearly 1000 jobs and millions in tax revenue out of the state.
We
like CO, we want to continue to operate in CO, but most of all, we want CO to
remain FREE.
Please help us in this fight, and let your voices be
heard!

The above letter was posted on Magpul's Facebook page yesterday. Whether they would pull up stakes and leave Colorado remains to be seen. Hopefully, it won't come to that.
Seems to me that people are starting to push back against new laws, rules and regulations that infringe our rights. Of course, that makes the .gov push even harder against us. The .gov wants gun control. All of you know that and you also know that once it starts, it isn't likely to stop.
It isn't what the people want, yet the government insists on pushing their gun control agenda. What will it take to make them listen?
Stay safe.

Rights are not gifts...
Unfortunately, many people in this country believe that rights, and everything else, come from the government. How many people in this country are taken care "from cradle to grave" by our government? By our government spending the money that they steal from us, the producers.
I do not believe that the ignorance of our children is an accident. I believe that our Liberal public education system deliberately dumbs our children down. History has been revised, Civics has been recreated in order to produce good little Communists.
We allowed it. Now we have to pay for it.
Stay safe.

obama goes shooting...
The White House released the above photo to "prove" that obama is a "skeeter".
Something doesn't seem quite right about this picture, though. Still, I won't claim that it was photo-shopped...
Powder charge only, no shot, for the photo op? I ask only because there is no apparent recoil.
His form seems to be a little off. The stock is riding a little bit high on his shoulder. That's gonna hurt. Sight picture might be a little off, too... He appears to be looking at the break down lever rather than the front sight bead. That is a result of the way he is shouldering the shotgun. He could be taught, I think...
Cheek weld is good, though. :) Glad to see that he's wearing eye and hearing protection.
I'd rather see the video than the still... :) Just sayin'
Stay safe.
