Ruger .22 semis...

My old MK I Target model, circa 1982, which was the last year the MK I was produced, and an SR22 that was manufactured the first part of March, 2013.  A bit different...

The MK I wasn't my first Ruger semi.  I had a Ruger RST-4 that I purchased in 1972.  It was stolen from my household goods when I transferred from Fort Hood back to Germany in 1976.  I was pissed.  I'm 100% positive that a guy by the name of Bobby Smith, who was one of the 2 guys who came to our quarters to pack our household goods, stole it.  Long story.  Suffice it to say that I shouldn't have allowed it to be packed in my household goods.  My rifle made it to Germany just fine.  Not the pistol.  Live and learn.
