I've run into the Open Carry correlation of this as well.
It's always the people who are 'scared' by the fact that you posses a gun (without the anointment of uniformed tin-badgery) that decide to get in your face to tell you just how scared they are.
Phssthpok... Yep, lots of logic in that. Almost as much as trusting someone with a gun simply because he or she has a badge and a uniform, eh?
