Stated as plainly as possible, yet, I'd be willing to bet that the grabbers don't understand it.
If the government is the only entity allowed to have guns, then the people have no way to protect themselves from a government that can do as it pleases. Guns in the hands of private citizens today is the only thing preventing the government from doing what it really wants to do, which is to completely control each and every facet of our lives. As if they don't do that already.
Some people are stupid by choice...
