Just for fun...
~~~~~~
But seriously... I rode my motorcycle to work this morning. It is almost time to head home and it is raining. No rain gear with me. LOL. I should have known better than to listen to the weatherman who said it would be clear by now...
Air show in town today. Thunderbirds are here. I work about a mile from the end of 12/30, which is the main runway and the one they use for the airshow. The practice sessions have been pretty sweet. I could count the hairs in the noses of the pilots. The sound kinda reminded me of the Phantoms. Kinda. Same, yet very different. Ah well, it has been a long time.
Enjoy your day.
Phantoms are badass.
It has been so long since I heard a phantom I had to go over on youtube and watch some fly, nothing like having one make a low pass though.
I have only flown single engine propeller driven aircraft by myself.
I have always said though, that if I could fly any aircraft that I wanted to...
It would be the Phantom.
"The Phantom just proves that, with a large enough engine, a brick will fly..."
I had that "Oh, oh!" moment this evening while I was trying to lock my garage door and get into the house to the bathroom.
Didn't make it.
I hear ya, Bob...
