The wedge that has been driven...

Donald Trump Isn’t the Presidential Candidate We Should Be Worried About

The real danger is the smarter, more capable neo-fascist politician who will inevitably rise in his wake.

Trump Speaks on Orlando Shooting

The voters vowed to take their revenge at the polls. They’d missed out on the country’s vaunted prosperity. They were disgusted with the liberal direction of the previous administration. They were anti-abortion and pro-religion. They were suspicious of immigrants, haughty intellectuals, and intrusive international institutions. And they very much wanted to make their nation great again.

They’d lost a lot of elections. But this time, they won.

In Poland, that is.

In two elections last year, the conservative Law and Justice Party (PiS) won the Polish presidency and then, by a more convincing margin, a parliamentary majority.

And this wasn’t just a victory for PiS. It was a victory for Poland B.

Since its post-Communist transition, that country is often described as having cleaved into two parts, commonly known as “Poland A” and “Poland B.” Poland A links together an archipelago of cities and their younger, wealthier inhabitants. Poland B encompasses the poorer, older parts of the population, many clustered in the countryside, particularly in the country’s eastern reaches near the former Soviet border.

After 1989 and the implementation of a punishing series of economic reforms, Poland A took off economically. By 2010, Warsaw, the capital, had become one of the most expensive places to live in Europe, outranking even Brussels and Berlin. New entrepreneurs and corporate managers took advantage of a host of economic opportunities, particularly after Poland joined the European Union in 2004.

In the countryside, on the other hand, Poland B fell ever further behind. Factories closed, and many farms couldn’t keep going. Jobs disappeared. Several million Poles decamped abroad in search of better economic opportunities. In other words, as the good times rolled in Poland A, Poland B languished.

Until the elections of 2015, Poland’s liberals dominated political, economic, and cultural life. Although they may not exactly be “liberal” in the American sense of supporting government entitlement programs, they are generally less religious, more tolerant of differences, and more open to the world than their conservative counterparts. They have squared off against the denizens of Poland B over such issues as the role of the Catholic Church in public life, the number of immigrants the country should allow in, and how close Poland should be to the EU.

It is a long article but definitely worth reading.   What isn't said, in the simplest terms, is that we are living the result of the wedge that has been intentionally driven between America A and America B.  That issue will have to be addressed at some point.

America B needs it's own political party, I am having a hard time thinking of a reason to ever vote republican again after they are doing their best to get our enemy elected.

Smell the fear? The Republican leadership is afraid that The Donald is going to come along and upset their apple cart.

Gingrich is telling them today to get behind Trump or expect the party to disintegrate. ;)

What if the Donald is really the real Manchurian Candidate?

Yeah, that's why most of us are voting for him.
We're trying to keep the neo-fascist Hillary! from becoming POTUS and working hard to take our guns before taking more of our freedom using a politicized FBI, a weaponized IRS and all the EPA, Social Security, NASA, USPS, USDA, etc. SWAT teams with the willing and eager compliance of our fine social, moral, political and intellectual betters in both, major political parties and the media.

Wildflower... I don't pretend to think that they think. Mike Rowe says it well in this article: http://qpolitical.com/24-hours-after-last-nights-debate-mike-rowe-makes-a-huge-confession-on-what-he-see-wrong-with-this-election/

Steve... What if it's Hillary? ;)

Veeshir... I agree that Hillary is the Neo-Fascist in this election. I believe that she is incredibly dangerous.

I have no doubt that some in the militarized alphabet agencies of the US government will let blood when they are told to do so. They will do it with great glee and very little thought. But I don't think, once they see real blood on their hands, that they will have the stomach to continue killing their families, their friends, and their neighbors. Ya know, because everyone who isn't with them is against them.

They will ultimately fail because Americans are pussies and don't have the stomach or the desire to finish what they have started. Or something like that. ;)

The most potentially damaging thing that Hillary can do is to pick (potentially 4) justices to the Supreme Court. If for no other reason, she must not be allowed to become POTUS simply to prevent her from making those nominations. Can you imagine adding at least 4 young radical Liberal justices to the Supreme Court? Can you imagine the damage that would be done if she were allowed to nominate potentially hundreds of federal judges all across the land?

Other than that, they are all the same to me. Thanks for your comment.
