Violets are Blue...

Even as a child the statement "violets are blue" made no sense to me. They are, well, violet. A shad of purple. ;)

Never made sense to me either. Then a few years ago I found out that there are also native varieties of white and yellow violets. My mind is blown.........; 27 March, 2017 16:18
