We all know.
Regardless of the number of times the Second is re-interpreted to satisfy the political desires of the day, it still means that the government has no business trying to regulate, codify, or control in any way, the private ownership and possession of firearms. Period.
The one caveat that I believe most gun owners would agree with is that there are some people who simply should not have access to firearms, in most cases. The identification of those people has to be determined very narrowly and very carefully.
Anyway, it's Amerika 2021. It's all talk. Those in power will do what they want. No one will stop them. They have already stated that they are willing to crush democracy in order to "save democracy". Democracy as defined by... them.
Peace.

Mr. Rubin. Mandatory gun buy-backs are ILLEGAL! They are UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Me saying "Come and get it" is me UPHOLDING the Constitution you're wiping your ass with! And it's "Come and TAKE it." Get your words straight.
...If those in power will do what they want, then s will I...
This all ends with violence and bloodshed. The only question being will we the people sit quietly and allow the criminal left to inflict it on us without responding or will we make that violence a reciprocal act. They are IN CHARGE and have no intentions of ever relinquishing that power. They will not give up, go away or coexist with anyone that won't submit to their evil. TINVOWOOT
That "one caveat" is hastening our destruction.
The 2A placed the ownership and possession of weapons wholly outside of government jurisdiction by expressly and explicitly forbidding government to place any controls or restrictions on the ownership and possession of weapons.
Never mind what the supreme law of the land says, though. We're frightened by that part so we'll pretend it isn't there.
This is how tyranny is formed, as the interesting times we live in will attest.
I will be a law abiding gun owner until the government decides to make me an outlaw.
Then an outlaw I shall be.
Thanks for the comments, folks. :)
