No sense of humor....

From David P. is SC....

In a real-life version of the movie "Weekend at Bernie's," two men drove around with a dead friend's body, then used his ATM card during a visit to a strip club, police said.
Robert Jeffrey Young and Mark Rubinson were charged with abusing a corpse, identity theft and criminal impersonation. They were freed on bond, according to the Denver Post.
It's unclear how Jeffrey Jarrett died, but the men were not charged in his death. The cause has not yet been determined, as toxicology tests are still under way, the paper reported.
According to the Post, an affidavit said Young found Jarrett dead at his home in southeast Denver, but instead of alerting authorities, went to find Rubinson at the restaurant where he works. The two then allegedly went back to Jarrett's home and loaded the body into Rubinson's Lincoln Navigator.
The affidavit accused Young and Rubinson of leaving Jarrett's body in the vehicle while they drank at a bar on his tab Aug. 27.
Investigators allege the men stopped at a restaurant, returned Jarrett's body to his home, used Jarrett's ATM card and withdrew $400 at a teller machine at Shotgun Willie's strip club before reporting Jarrett's death.
"This is a bizarre and unfortunate crime," police spokesman Sonny Jackson said. "This isn't anything you want to have happen to a loved one. You want them treated with respect in death."
A relative told the Denver Post that Jarrett was a father and a professional who sold real estate and owned his home in southeast Denver. The family now wants an investigation about how Jarrett died, and the relative said they wanted to know whether he could have been saved if Young had called for help rather than going to meet a friend.

All I can say is that the government has no sense of humor.

Stay safe.

Really! He probably told his friends to do it when he died. I want to have a BBQ with plenty of beer and a Dixieland band. I just wish I would be able to attend still breathing!:)
