A new mate for "Big Thunder".
This one is a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .223.
She will complement nicely the Remington 700 SPS Varmint that I own in .308.
Scope, rings, and base should be here later this week.
Redneck Machine Shop modification to the bolt handle could happen yet this week. Depends on my motivation. Worked very well on the .308 and took less than an hour.
I'm sorta excited to get her out to the range and see how she shoots.

It's amazing what can be done with a Dremel and a bench grinder (and a hand file and a die) when one is patient :)
