God bless all those folks who showed AVObama where to get off! Special thanks, salutes, and prayers for all the vets who took part or would have if they could have gotten there. In case you're wondering, I invented AVObama. The AVO was the secret police in Communist Hungary, from which a friend of mine escaped some years ago; James Michener mentions the AVO in his classic "The Bridge at Andau." My Hungarian friend says I have hit the nail on the head.

I went to a local gathering earlier, there were about 80 people there, lots of flags, a local biker club, it was a good morning. :)
