Merry Christmas Blue, to you and all your family. I used to love going to Christmas Eve service at the Lutheran church.
We're doing Christmas at our local nursing home. Old fashioned. Little service by a couple of the elders , then candy & cookies & coffee. Really pretty neat.
Merry Christmas, Blue!
Miss V. ... I just can't break away, not that I'd want to. The Lutheran church is pretty special to me.
Anon... That sounds wonderful!
Sunwolf... Thank you! :)
I haven't broken away, there just isn't any Lutheran church to go to. There is one a half an hours drive away but the descendents of the founding church members are so busy fighting with any new members it ruins the church going experience. There are Lutheran churches an hours drive away, but none are Missouri Synod, which is what I am. So I am church homeless. ;-)
Merry Christmas Blue :-)
Miss V. ... LCMS here also :) The Missouri Synod church that I have attended all my life, the church where I was baptized, confirmed, and married, still has the same old family members fighting with each other and pretty much with everyone who isn't one of "them". It's sometimes kinda funny to just sit back and watch the politics of the church play out. I am not opposed to going to other Lutheran churches. Doesn't bother me a bit :)
Miss K. ... Thank you very much. Merry Christmas to you, too. :)
Blue: Belated Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hope it was fun and safe.
Thank you MADDOG. I hope yours was good also!
