No welfare unless you worked and only when you lost your job due to business failing or layoff. Solve the immigration problem by taking all "non-workers" from the cities and put them in the fields. When, and only then, will "guest workers" be allowed in the country to fill any gaps. I CANNOT believe this country is giving SS benefits to illegals and invaders! Has the planet gone mad?

When I was in the 3d ACR (1975-77), I had a couple of heroin users in my section. They got a free pass (general but honorable discharge) if they admitted they were drug users - addicts. No immediate consequences. They laughed on their way out the door telling anyone who'd listen how they got away clean. This is the same thing (in my opinion).
And there is no money for veterans either. But every deadbeat with a EBT card eats better than most people.
MADDOG... I had one in Germany in 73. The son of an Air Force LTC. He was being processed out when I caught him shooting up in a latrine. Same story, General/Honorable.
