Gee, 3 examples of real Commanders-in-Chief who have been there and gotten the T-shirt. And "ours" has absolutely no shame in looking like one of his limp-dick liberal friends. To qoute our next possible C-inC, "What difference does it make?"
That's the God's Truth. Hell if somebody would take up a collection to rent Putin for a few months, just long enough to unscrew everything Obama has hosed up, I'd kick in the whole months social security check. I doubt the Russians would let go of him even for a short while though. Leaders with intelligence and balls are too rare and too hard to replace these days.
Yeah, and how about MooShell in a loincloth and studded bra totin' a two headed bloody axe and dragin' Barry back to her cave.
obama isn't much of a leader, in any regard.
MooShell in a loincloth? Yukkk... ;) Dragin barry? Yeah, I can get behind that.
I find it beyond ironic that I admire Russia's leader so much more than our own. Go figure.
Chipmunk... It's quite understandable. ;)
I was born in 1944, and all through my childhood and youth the cold war was going on. The Commies, or Russkies, or whatever you wanted to call them, were our mortal enemies.
Sometime in the early 60s, my dad -- WWII vet and FBI investigator -- remarked to me that the Soviets would never take us on in full-scale warfare, because they knew that both sides would lose too much.
This is just background to saying that I find myself very surprised that I respect Vladimir Putin far more than Barack Obama.
It sure isn't the world I grew up in!
We have a lot of similar memories and experiences, Bob. I enlisted in the Army in the spring of 1972 then spent over 5 of the next 7 years in Germany. The first 2 1/2 years were with the 3rd Armored Division with responsibility for "plugging" the Fulda Gap, should the Soviets attempt to come through there. A year and a half at Fort Hood, Texas then the last 3 years were spent with a Pershing Missle unit back in Germany. You'll have to look that up sometime. There were still 2 separate Germanys back then, as well as homegrown European terrorists and "Arab" terrorists in Europe. Heady times for a young guy, for sure. :)
Pee Wee-- You're Black?
Does it matter?
