It isn't about security. It's about control.
Amerikans had the opportunity to send a message today. Amerikans had the opportunity to tell those who would control us that enough is enough.
The opportunity passed. Amerikans failed.
The NFL stadiums were full.
The message sent was the wrong one. The message that was sent was that Amerikans will accept their privacy being invaded, they will accept personal humiliation and the humiliation of their families, they will accept the hands of a stranger touching their bodies and the bodies of their family members for no reason other than control, as long as they can get into the stadium to watch the game.
Believe me when I say "People were watching".
Amerikans will allow any perversion against their freedom as long as no one disturbs the status quo.
