Near Swaledale, Iowa
The wife and I went out for a late lunch today then decided to road trip up to Swaledale to visit a cemetary where some relatives are buried. She's into geneology in a big way and the drive was good. We took county roads and went through Rockford, the town that was home to Jon Tumilson and where he was recently buried. Driving the county roads and passing through the small farming communities is like taking a step back in time. It was good.
While perusing blogs this morning I came across this over at Kurt's Trainwreck.
It's the helmet that belonged to one of the steelworkers who was helping clean up Ground Zero. It is to be displayed at the Ground Zero Memorial.
If you look at it closely you'll notice that something is out of place. I would never have guessed that even a bottom feeding obamanite would stoop to such depths and politicize the tragedy that was 9-11.
I hope that this helmet doesn't go on display like this. Perhaps it's photoshopped? Whatever. It's disgusting.
Ah well....
Stay safe.

I saw that before and the consensus was that it was altered which is what I would go for. Aren't country roads wonderful? Y'all ought to come visit and see some of ours.
Altered is what I'm going for also.
Yes, country roads are wonderful!
With all the union stickers why are we so surprised by the Obama?
