Anniversary...

Today is the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Sad at the thought of the millions killed for convenience.

I'm not going to post any pictures of the broken bodies.  You have all seen them before.  What you don't easily see are the broken minds and spirits of the mothers.  And of the nation.

Thoughts about Roe:
1. The plaintiffs brought their case using "Roe", who never had any intention of getting an abortion.
2. The Supreme Court decision at the time was specifically based on the medical technology that was available at the time and specifically acknowledged that future advances in medicine could lead to a different outcome.
3. When Roe was handed down, many states already had very permissive laws about abortion.
4. The same government that held an inviolable right to medical privacy for abortion is now dictating electronic medical records, accessible to the government. No one who advocated for privacy then is objecting to the Obamacare now.

Me, I look at it like this -

Abortion makes my skin crawl, but I don't like a bunch of men telling a woman what to do with her body.

Just like I don't like a bunch of women telling me that all guns are always bad.

You make your own choices and you live with the consequences.

The problem Charlie is the unborn child has no choice. That is some one else's body. Abortion is not health care. C.J.

An unborn child is not part of a woman's body. An unborn child, with it's unique DNA string, is a totally separate human entity being carried inside a woman's body. A guest, so to speak. A guest who is totally dependent on the mother for it's health and well being from conception to birth. A separate and unique human being carried inside it's mother's womb.
