This video is about 16 minutes long. It is a conversation between IFC President Michael Ware and IFC board member John McLaughlin from the Rally/Protest in DC Wednesday. It pretty much matches most of what my former coworker said... Mostly quiet, peaceful, harmless. A few folks, who no one knew, were up to other things. Like John says, he isn't a conspiracy theorist hothead trying to stir the pot...
I wasn't there and I have no idea who did what. I know that an unarmed woman, a protestor, an Air Force Veteran, was shot through a "broken window in a door that offered limited visibility" by Capitol Police. She was hit in the neck and died. If you have seen any of the pictures from inside the Capitol you may have noticed that trigger discipline was sporadic by the officers with guns. Lot's of booger hooks on bang switches.
Also, I haven't heard about any armed protestors. I'm not saying that there were none, just that I haven't heard about it. There were no shootouts between protestors and police. Only an unarmed peaceful protestor killed by police. And her name is being drug through the mud to justify killing her.
No leadership. No plan. No weapons. No coup. No attempted overthrow of the government. A bunch of folks who got caught up in the moment and let the situation take them away... I don't know. A narrative has already been created by the media. The truth, whatever that is, will likely never see the light of day...
A lot of the narrative about the protest that is being presented by the media doesn't pass the smell test. And our friends on the Left are circling like sharks in bloody water. They have a story, they don't need the truth.
Anyway, just a couple of thoughts with my morning coffee... Have a nice day.
Peace.

I found this article to be very enlightening about Dems vs. Republicans. Sent it to my husband and Army son, too. Long, but very worthwhile.
