Seriously...?

Humor...

"Makes you think that the universe has called upon you to act like a rabid moonbat"
Gonna be a classic...  :)

Rant on...

So you owe $60,000 for your college debt?  I don't care.  You signed on the line and gave your word that you'd pay it back, with interest.  You agreed to the terms and conditions of the loan.  Now that you have your indoctrination education and all that debt, the reality sinks in.  Art history majors start out at about $30,000 a year teaching elementary school students.  Social work?  You'll be making about $28,000 a year.  You think that I should pay your indoctrination education debt?  That's just plain greedy, don't ya think?  I hate to say it but your parents and your 17 years of schooling failed you.  Your parents for not slapping some sense into you and your indoctrination education for failing to prepare you for the real world.

You make $36,000 a year and you're overwhelmed by your $250,000 mortgage debt and your car payments and your credit card debt?   Who's the dumbass that signed on the line?  You are.  It's your responsibility to pay the debt that you legitimately incur.  Not my problem.  If you try to make it my problem you're only gonna piss me off.  Blame the banker that wrote the loan?  Why?  YOU signed it.  YOU accepted the terms.  It's YOUR responsibility to satisfy YOUR debt.  Your attitude of "I want it all and I want it now" is what has screwed this up.

Should some of the big wigs on Wall Street be prosecuted?  Sure.  Did they break the law?  Some of them.  Were they unscrupulous in the way they made loans to poor dumb fucks that "wanted it all and wanted it now"?  Yep.

Should some of the people in government be prosecuted for this mess?  Again, yep, I think they should.  Start with the Bozo who added 4.3 trillion in debt to the citizens of this country in the last 2 1/2 years.  Then go after the Democrat Congress that let him do it.  They helped him do it.  Put all of them in jail.  Go after the butt-munches all the way back to Carter who forced bankers to make loans that they knew wouldn't be paid back because the people accepting the loans didn't have any income other than what the government gave them.  Go after Frank and Dodd.  They are all in on it.  Get 'em....

In the end, though, it's the idiots that "wanted it all and wanted it now" who enabled the bankers to make the rotten loans.   Kinda hard to put someone in jail just because they're stupid.

If you think that I should be responsible for your bad financial decisions, you're just greedy.  And stupid.

I'm done.  For now.

Stay safe.

Precisely.

You summed-up beautifully how I think most Americans feel about these pukes. I hope their parents are proud of what they created.

Thanks, Jim. I really don't think these kids know what they want. All they know is that they don't want to pay for it. Their word means nothing to them and they don't care who pays for it as long as it isn't them. Sad.

Awesome post. But I don't think you should limit your criticism just to the Demoplicans. The Republocrats have their fair share of blame too... and then there's us. What a moronic bunch we turned out to be buying their useless vomit, voting them back in again and again until things got so bad we had no choice but acknowledge how far from the line we've gone.

It's pretty telling that the folks protesting bankers who made the loans that enabled them to get that ridiculously over-priced and near-useless liberal arts degree, never seem to get around to picketing the front lawn of Harvard in protest against the "windfall profits" of Big Education.

I'm curious what sort of internal mental/moral gymnastics are required to feel righteous in damning the guy who gave you the loan, but not the guy who set the price.

Daibhidh... Yes, I know it's people from both sides. They're all the same, after all. And us for letting it happen, incrementaly, bit by bit. It's gonna get ugly.

Justin... gotta get those big bucks for the education of the masses so that you can pay those big salaries to those doing the teaching. Wait! the people making the big bucks use teaching assistants to actually do the teaching. We're screwed. :)

When the old hippies and their useful idiots get around to picketing Soros's house I will see pigs fly and my stomach won't be so upset. Great post and imagry...I saw this in the 60's first hand. These animals are being co-opted by Commies, NWO gangstas, and VERY powerful special interests. Worse even than Kent St. awaits. Chaos is what the powers be have been waiting for.

Good job, Blue!
And Scott, I saw it, too. Grew up in the 60's, graduated High-School in '69.
