Quite frankly, that's one of the things I like about Newt. He slaps them down, makes them look drool-worthy stupid while he does it, and then follows up their "follow-up" questions with more of the same.
Nobody destroys the pompous media like Newt. He'd take Andrew Sullivan apart, piece by piece.
Mitt won't. Perry couldn't. Don't know about Santorum, but he's lost the "not Romney" race. And while I like a *lot* about Ron Paul, a lot of the rest is bat-shit crazy.
So I guess I've decided. Wow.
Yep, Newt tells it the way he sees it. Have to respect that. Sounds like he fired up a debate moderator this evening...

I remember when Clinton was in the midst of Monicagate and his world was upside down. Newt was the Speaker and the whole world loved him. He could do no wrong. The American people at the time thought he was the clear choice for President...
