The sporadic musings of a middle aged man who isn't exactly happy with the direction America is taking today....
I think this might be my favorite Goldfinch photo. In my back yard earlier today.
So you have a new hobby, wildlife photography, very cool.
I've actually been "practicing" photography for a long time. I was thankful for a wee bit of knowledge and a couple of cameras when I lost my job during the economic disaster that was 1981. Made a few bucks doing Senior pictures and weddings. Have I ever mentioned how much I loathe weddings? It turns people into evil spawn of the Devil. LOL. There may be a story or two in there somewhere. But yes, wildlife/nature photography is kind of a new hobby. I have found that it helps hone my "situational awareness" skills to almost as sharp as they were when I was in the Army. Even if you don't take photos, watching nature is amazing. :)Cameras and guns, bicycles and motorcycles... Judy often mentioned that I had expensive hobbies. LOL. Her situational awareness was pretty keen at times, as well...Stay safe.Peace
