The sporadic musings of a middle aged man who isn't exactly happy with the direction America is taking today....
1946, but they didn't do everything on the list ;)
Conservatives won that one, if I remember correctly... ;)
OK I guess I'm young enough (at 47?) to not know what you're referring to. Educate me please :)
The battle of Athens, Tennessee. Interesting story. I actually think there was a movie about it.
Thanks Blue.I'm off to check that out.
Have to say, I enjoy it when a "professional rabble-rouser" gets his ass handed to him at a political rally. He's whining a Trump supporter beat him. Well, I 1) call it poor judgment to go into a place where you are out numbered, shout inflammatory things against the purpose of the rally and NOT expect to get beat up, and 2) getting your ass whipped because you're a "professional rabble-rouser" is an "occupational hazard". Maybe there will be sympathetic liberal on the other end when you file your workman's comp claim. What a maroon (Bugs Bunny).
What a maroon. Yup ;)
What about Liberal gun owners? Not all Liberals are pussies who shy away from guns or are morons, any more than all conservatives are as moral, upstanding and valiant as they like to portray themselves. I find both sides extreme, distasteful, idiotic in their respective pandering and claims that their side is the only right side, and insulting to people of intelligence. Whatever happened to having a set of nuts and a backbone, becoming informed then exercising your free will to form your own opinions about all the important issues of today instead of being led around by the nose by a bunch of criminals and liars who call themselves leaders. I am also ex-Army having served 14+ years, a combat medic, served in the First Gulf War, and was in Berlin when the wall came down in '89. I bought into the "be all you can be" recruiting campaign in 1984. What a crock of shit that turned out to be. Liberal? Not on a bet. Conservative? Not that stupid. Gun owner? Multiple. Patriot? ALWAYS
Excellent, Chris. Agree that there are always extremes on both "sides".
