Non swept wing. Citation IV?

I once landed a Sabreliner at Meigs. Drew QUITE the crowd. (OK we were almost empty on fuel and only had a 20 minute hop home so were were LIGHT.

Glad you survived the trip. I'd go for the cocktail myself if I was in the back.

Brigid, Citation Bravo. I used to fly up front a lot but when the owner of the company I work for found out that the pilot let me fly it he came unglued. Hey! I have a license! (SEL)

Good flight. We used to fly into Miegs but it's all Midway now. Seems the last Daley had the runway pocked with holes at Miegs.... He aparently didn't like airplanes using the airport that was most convenient.

A Sabreliner at Miegs would be quite the experience! :)

I'd fly with you. No alcohol involved. :)

I'd need more mini- bottles than that, if I had to go to the land of Obummer.

Brock.... I checked out Virginia Gentleman. Made by the same folks who distill Buffalo Trace, which happens to be my favorite bourbon!

Adrienne.... Yep. Long day.

Jim.... 2 double bourbons and a couple of beers before I got back on the plane. When I walked in the house Judy asked "have you been drinking?" OOPS.

I don't know why I typed in IV. But yeah. I recognized it. I picked up a cheap type rating on the CE-500 years back to do some pilot service to pay for grad school. Big difference in avionics between what I learned on and the V, but yeah.

The Sabreliner. . oh year, quite an attention getter. Once I pulled the seat fabric out of my rear, my copilot and I had quite a bit of attention. I had to find old "spaghetti" performance charts to see if it was legal. Legal and smart aren't always the same thing.
Thanks for the memory.

You've got that right, Sister! :)

Meigs was less than 4000' long, if I remember correctly :)
