Model 70 Coyote...

Winchester Model 70 Coyote.  They were manufactured between 2000 and 2006.  Caliber .223.  I'm guessing that this one was built toward the end of the run, based on the serial number.  I have several Remington 700 rifles in different calibers and configurations.  .223, .308, .300 WinMag.  Every one of those rifles ended up with a Timney trigger.  Easy to install, inexpensive upgrade.  The trigger on the Model 70 Coyote seems pretty good.  I have read enough about them that I made the decision not to grab a Timney right away to "upgrade", as it may not actually be an upgrade.  We shall see.

Anyway, Ernie had this in his shop in Marion, Iowa with a 4.5 - 14 Nikon Buckmasters scope on it for a price that I felt was pretty good.  The rifle is in excellent condition (actually looks new), used but not used up.  Well maintained.

So...  ;)  She's a heavy gal.  I like that.

Peace...

And a genuine Winchester will appreciate in price, even when used (and well cared for). Nice find - congratulations.
